What customers say?

“ Stopped by to give it a try and when we arrived a guy was there in charge of the seating. He said there was a 40 plus minutes wait or seat by the front door. Just sat by the front door and our server cane around not long after that. She didn't give her name but in the receipt it says Emilie, she offered drinks including mimosas but I wanted to get coffee which was good. I tried the chef's David delight and I thought it was good, not spicy with a good flavor. It cane with 3 corn tortillas. The Aztec scrambler was good. Our server did come a couple of times to ask if we needed anything and did refill my coffee. Overall it was a nice visit to the restaurant. ”

“ First time at SOB, wandered in after finding an hour plus wait time at Fat Rice across the street. The beer selection was great, not massive but a good variety of craft and generic ones. Service was great, the staff were attentive, friendly, and efficient, particularly for a Saturday night! The food was so so so good! Had the loaded fries, with the sauce, cheese, jalapeños, bacon, and egg just running to together into a delicious mess. The butcher's platter was a really good size (after the fries we couldn't even finish half), the meat was cooked and seasoned so well it was divine. The little rack of ribs had a different sauce I wasn't used to, more vinegar-y than usual, but it was still great. Every part of this meal was just superb! I hardly get so lucky just wandering into a place but SOB was so good ill definitely be back! ”

“ Love this place ! It is one of my all time favorite go-to places. Their atmosphere is super relaxed and soo much fun! I've taken my son out there for lunch. Have gone with my parents for dinner. Visited with family and friends for dinner and drinks & dranks, because there's definitely a difference there ! The staff is amazing, attentive, and never make you feel rushed. They treat you like a regular all the time, whether it's your first time or 50th time. The food is bomb af and finger licking good! Never thought it'd be excited for tacos de Nopales on taco Tuesday but I am! The Butcher platter is a must for everyone to have! Their, bitter like my ex, drink has become one of my favs to sip on and enjoy as I sway my shoulders and jam out to their amazing taste in music ! If I like you as a person I'm taking you to SOB ”

“ Top-notch American Gastropub fare with a hint of Mexican flare. Their brunch offerings are among the best in the city and the coffee is wonderful. Also, the staff is attentive and friendly. ”

“ Love this place, been here many times. However today’s service was not so great, I asked the waitress 2 questions, and she answered back with a question. I asked if they had Sam Adams she said “Is it in the menu?” I asked if they had seasonal beers she answered “i don’t think so.” She’s the one who works there she should know. (Right?) I thought her answers were arrogant. However i still gave her, her 20% because I hope she was just having a bad day. (We all have bad days). Next time i won’t let it slide, her answers almost ruined my night. ”

“ A nice and small neighborhood bar. It was very nice ambience and the food was absolutely delicious. I have to say it was one of the best sandwiches I ever had and the Mac and cheese I highly recommend as well as the ranch fries. I highly recommend this place you won't be disappointed. ”

“ I had the surf and turf here. Well done with delicious Mac and cheese. Great brunch/breakfast place. By the same folks who brought you the Ron Swanson themed Whisk dining experience. ”

- Nate Rock -

“ Excellent food. Every time we come here it is stellar. If it were up to the bf we would be there every Saturday. Veggie options are so tasty. Burgers are great. Check their daily specials and happy hour schedule. You will not be disappointed! ”
